A sunny day out at the Highland Folk Museum

30th June 2009

On Saturday 27th June, 16 children & parents from Bonar Bridge, Tain & Dingwall enjoyed a day out at the award-winning Highland Folk Museum at Newtonmore. The children are all being educated through the medium of Gaelic and CnaG organised the outing to give them a chance to experience & speak Gaelic outside the classroom as well as meet families from other areas.

It was a lovely warm day and we got the chance to see some interesting scenarios from bygone days, for example an old classroom setting, a township and animals on a small croft.
