Children's Workshops at the Mod

November 2008

Drama with puppets     Children making puppets

We ran workshops again at the Mod this year which took part in Falkirk. The youngsters got the chance to make puppets then perform a short drama piece with them afterwards. They were really funny!

We also heard very good songs and poetry from those who were going into the competitions.

Fay McDiarmid, Youth Projects Manager with CnaG said “We’re really pleased that we were at the Mòd again and it’s good to work with other organisations. It’s really important that children get opportunities to have fun whilst speaking Gaelic”

The ‘Dè a-nis?’ team were also in the hall along with Fay and Coinneach from CnaG and Dougie and Deirdre from Fèisean nan Gàidheal. There were colourful balloons and other gifts for the children and pictures were taken which could be used in the ‘Dè a-nis?’ ‘Cinn-craicte’ animation. We wonder who’s going to be on the TV…
